Communities in arid and semi-arid regions face rising economic challenges from poverty, climate change, and exclusion. By building livelihoods and amplifying voices, Usawa Space empowers people—not just to survive, but to lead, innovate, and define their own futures.
Entrepreneurship & Skills Training – Supporting women and youth with training in business development, vocational skills, and micro-enterprise to grow sustainable livelihoods.
Digital & Civic Empowerment – Building digital literacy and leadership capacity while creating safe spaces for dialogue, advocacy, and civic participation.
Climate-Resilient Livelihoods – Promoting innovative and traditional practices such as agroecology, eco-enterprises, and sustainable resource use that adapt to climate change.
Market Access & Economic Inclusion – Linking local producers to markets, cooperatives, and value chains to expand income opportunities.
